In history, we have been looking at toys in the past and comparing them to toys today. We made a toy museum and made puppets to go in the museum along with some of the children's toys. We even had a separate toy shop where children could pretend to buy all sorts of toys!
Art Week: We have been learning about the French painter Claude Monet. We painted Water Lilies by sponging the background then adding tissue paper lilies.
Religious Education: We have been learning about how Christians say thank you to God for the harvest and food during the Harvest Festival. We thought about who helps us with our food and made thank you cards for our lunchtime supervisors; they were very happy! We learnt that Christians believe that God made the world and everything in it. We thought about our world and what makes it beautiful and then we made a collage of all the wonderful things around us!
