Dear Parent/Carer

Thank you to all those families that came in to "Meet the Teacher" mornings over the past couple of weeks. Hopefully you found them informative. If you were unable to make the mornings, you will find the presentation on your child's year group webpage. 

In the next week or so we will release the bookings for our first Parent/Carer consultation evenings (this term goes so quickly!). You should receive an email next week. 

Our football team had a great first set of games in their league. They showed great teamwork and perseverance – please see the match report below and our news item as well. 

Nuala Husband

Bawdsey Manor, PGL, Suffolk

Just over 40 Year 6's travelled to Bawdsey Manor in Suffolk for a weekend of fun, challenge and not much sleep!  

Children showed resilience, growth and determination in climbing, fencing, problem-solving and playing games.  We were so proud of our Year 6's, who, as ever, were complimented on their manners and behaviour. 

Twinkle visits the Seaside

Meanwhile, Twinkle  Class visited Southend for a day at the Seaside. They enjoyed traditional rides, a dip in the sea and, of course, fish and chips!  

The children were great fun and worked so well as a group making sure everyone took part and enjoyed themselves. They really showed our values of kindness and togetherness. 

Go Ape was amazing for Year 6

And the rest of Year 6... They went to Go Ape in Alexander Palace. A tree-top climbing challenge where they showed courage and perseverance in overcoming any doubts or fears they had. 

They really showed Excellence and Respect in being the best they could be and listening carefully to instructions.
