D&T: Testing Mechanical Car Prototypes

In D&T, pupils tested different prototypes to see which mechanical car would travel the furthest.

 

 

Science: Exploring States of Matter

As part of the Year 4 science curriculum on States of Matter, pupils took part in a practical investigation to explore changes in materials. Using zip-lock bags, ice and salt, the children observed how a liquid mixture changed into a solid, supporting their understanding of freezing and the effect of temperature on matter.
