An excited group of Year 5s met at the very early time of 7am at St Pancras's Station for  their day trip to Lille.  Mme Dejonghe had organised a treasure hunt on the walk around Lille, a trip to the Boulangerie (a lot of cake and baguettes were consumed), a visit to a waffle/crepe  stall which also included a trip to the bubble tea shop across the road and of course a chance to buy some souvenirs.

Our children's behaviour was exemplary. They practised their French, showed their endless curiousity and sense of fun and were a pleasure to take.  It all ended at approx 7pm back at St Pancras - it's a very long day but worth every minute of it!  Thank you to Mme Dejonghe for co-ordinating the day, our amazing office staff who made sure we had all our documents and tickets and of course the staff that supported the day itself.
