We welcome members of our community (parent/carers, grandparents, older sisters or brothers etc) who wish to support us during the day. Whilst we welcome requests from members of the public who are not connected to the school, we will ask you to come in for a short informal interview before confirming we are able to support your request. 

Volunteering could be supporting reading/phonics a few days a week, helping out with maths lessons once a week or running a small sports club during lunchtimes!  We generally need volunteers to commit to regular weekly slots, but at times we do have volunteers coming in for a specific project such as sorting out the library.

As of Sept 2026 (and in line with the latest Keeping Children Safe In Education – KCSIE), any volunteer, including existing volunteers, will need an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Debarring Service) and, due to financial constraints, we will ask volunteers to pay for this (approx £50).  This is a change from the old system that only needed a DBS. Only the school can apply, and we cannot accept a DBS or Enhanced DBS from any other setting. If you are interested please complete the form below (either click on the link or use the QR code) and we will contact you to let you know if we are able to accommodate your request.
