We encourage all children to complete their homework each week. Allocating a specific time and finding a suitable space helps ensure that children can complete their work to the best of their abilities.

Homework is set for a Friday.

Our Maths and English homework is allocated via LBQ. All children have been allocated a login for this system. Please note that this is an intelligent system. Therefore, when a child is answering questions, the system may choose to skip ones that the child clearly understands.

Our spellings are allocated every week via teams and linked with our spelling lessons during that week.

Daily practice:

We ask that children do regular times table practice using TTRS and that they aim to "Go Green" on their heatmap (an indication that the child can answer times table questions from 1 to 12 within 4 seconds).

Finally, we encourage all children to read daily. Being a fluent and proficient reader affects all areas of the curriculum and in the Year of Reading for Pleasure we want all our children to be engaged in reading.
