Trialling new projects!

Firs Farm is often chosen to trial a new projects!

The 'Faith Ambassadors' project linked our school with Winchmore Secondary School whose Year 8 students visited our Year 1 and Year 4 classes to talk about their faith from their own perspective. Winchmore students received training for this, then prepared interactive child friendly presentations.

Firs Farm was chosen to be the pilot primary school for this project, being the first school in the borough to receive the RE Quality Mark at Gold Level. Our children asked the Faith Ambassadors brilliant questions about the presentations on Hinduism and Islam and had the opportunity to handle artefacts and dress up!
