Trip to Millfield Theatre - Mother Goose
Dear Parents / Carers,
Year 2 children are having a WOW day! It will focus on how children used to learn in school around the time of World War II.
This will help your children to make links between the different subjects they are learning about. This day will incorporate many curriculum areas, such as History, English, Maths and Art.
It will take place on Friday 8th November 2019.
We would like the children to try to dress up similar to the boy and girl below. Please do not buy any costumes. School uniform, with trousers tucked into long socks will be fine.
Please can you help your child to make a ‘suitcase’ similar to the one below, using maybe a wrapped shoe box. The children will use this as a suitcase in their evacuation.
