Cross-curricular links in Religious Education
Year 4 visited the Synagogue in the Autumn Term. After learning about the key features and how the Jewish Community use the Synagogue, children completed a 'Padlet' in Computing to record one thing they learnt.
Children built a Sukkah in the playground as part of their unit on the Jewish Festival of Sukkot. They used design and technology skills to think about the basic structure and in their art lessons, they drew pictures of fruit. They sat in it and thought about how the they felt and how the Jewish people may have felt long ago.
